International Women’s Day 2019 on Saturday, March 9th from 4-8pm

Think equal, build smart, innovate for change focuses on innovative ways in which we can advance gender equality and the empowerment of women, particularly in the areas of social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure. Understanding the gender-environment nexus is not only key to understanding social and environmental inequities and barriers to sustainable development, but to unlocking options for trans-formative action, as well.  

The International Women’s Day is an opportunity to think about the progress made in the implementation of cultural policies related to human rights and gender equality; and foster our dreams for a better future for the new generations of women and men.
